Monday Weigh-in

Another Monday is here again! How did everyone do? My eating was not as stellar this week, but my workouts were more intense.

I am happy to say I am down 1.6 pounds this week!

Just a little tidbit of information: it takes 3,500 calories burned to lose a pound. 3,500! So be excited about every pound you lose because 3,500 is a lot of calories to burn!

  1. Definitely not my best week but still down a pound. I'm determined to be better this week and focus on drinking lots of water and getting more sleep - amazing what a difference both of these make on top of eating well and working out.

  2. Rough week for me. I gained back somewhere between 0.5 a pound or maybe a full pound.

    I blame my two car accidents, and food...for being so good. And the weather because it deserves some blame too.

    Hoping to get back on the horse this week.

  3. Must be genetic....I had a horrible week as well. Was sick all week so only exercised once. Unfortunately being sick did not keep me from eating. I gained a pound. This week will be better.

    I blame Greg's car accidents and Valentines day and my visiting teachers for bringing me Oreo cake pops which I don't even like but ate anyway!!

  6. Down a pound. Didn't do much exercising last week tho.

    I feel like I eat the same thing everyday, I'm in a rut...anyone have some good recipes?!

  7. After a week on vacation (i.e. eating out) and a week celebrating anniversaries and Valentine's Day, all with little exercise, I am relieved that I am actually down a pound. Whew!

    I am with the Bar Raiser: I'm committing to more sleep, more water, and more exercise. I cant eat if I'm full of water and sleeping, right?

  8. Ok, so I am a bit late on the weigh in, but I am down 1.4 pounds this week. I also have a new favorite snack that I would like to share. Vanilla Yoplait Greek yogurt 100 calories, with 1/3 cup of frozen fruit. So yummy and about 130 calories with 13g of protein :)
