Hi everyone!
Congratulations on surviving the first and hardest week of 10 in 6! It only gets easier from here!
Make sure you weigh in by commenting on the comments section of this post. If you are reading this from your email, make sure to go to 10in6.blogspot.com.
Even if you did not lose weight or even gained this week make sure to weigh in and say what you are going to do differently this week. Every week is a new week!
I am down 1.2 pounds this week!
Happy Monday!
Heidi
All the ladies of the group, please don't hate me but I am down 3.5 pounds this week. Getting closer to the goal!
ReplyDeleteGood luck everyone!
Lost 2.2 lbs this week! But MUCH harder to stay on calories than I had expected!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weigh-in Monday everybody!
Pushing my Neighbors car up the hill in our cul-de-sac turned out to be the best interval training ever designed: slushy footing, heavy car, face full of exhaust, sprint, rest, repeat. I'm excited for week 2!
ReplyDeleteDown just over 4 total but I thought we were starting a week earlier than we did, so that's 2 weeks worth:-) Here's to the next week! Good job everyone!
ReplyDeleteAnd Heidi, you said last week was the hardest - but in the past I have found the second to be harder to stay motivated so I am gearing up for that. I'd rather go in thinking it might be harder than to get complacent. (Plus, its Valentine's). Not to disagree, but just a thought for any of you who think like me - poor souls! Thanks Heidi for helping me stay motivated so far:-)
I had a hard time staying within my calories this week. I was in Utah visiting family. I was so nervous for my weigh in this morning but was pleasantly surprised that I lost 1.2 pounds :)
ReplyDeleteI actually gained .3 pounds. Of course, I weighed after working all night, so I am interested to see what things look like in the morning before I eat. I measured though, and lost .75 inches on my hips and .25 on my neck. Not too discouraged. Loving My Fitness Pal for keeping track of eating and exercise, and I exercised 4 times last week.
ReplyDeleteHeidi, thanks for mentioning interval training on Friday. Since last week was my first time back in the gym in a loooong time, I had to start on the treadmill at a much slower speed than I'd like. But for the three times I went, I did three minutes at the slower speed and lower incline and then three minutes faster with a steeper incline and kept rotating. This morning I started off at the higher speed from last week and then rotated to an even higher speed. It actually helps keep the treadmill a little more interesting as well. About one more week on the treadmill and then I'll start doing some time on the elliptical. Thanks, Heidi, for the motivation to get started and to keep going.
ReplyDeleteok well I've lost 7 lbs already.....but I too got a week jump start PLUS my beginning total weight was weighed during that time when females really shouldn't be stepping onto the scale. So I'd say cut that 7 in half and that's more likely what I've really lost!
ReplyDeletePS.....I live in Louisiana.....Mardi Gras is tomorrow, do you know how hard it is to stay away from all the yummy deep fired goodness!! And to have your husband come home with a freshly delivered King Cake straight from New Orleans from one of his TV reps.....ahhhhh!!!!!
But honestly I think the hardest thing about this is PORTION CONTROL!!! I haven't gone back for seconds this whole time....that's right, stand up and cheer for me!!
